Set in a quiet, tucked-away part of rural Shetland, the site offers true peace and privacy with little to no passing traffic — perfect for switching off completely. Thanks to minimal light pollution and a north-facing aspect, it’s an incredible spot for stargazing and, if you’re lucky, catching the Northern Lights right from your pod. You’re surrounded by open countryside with coastal walks on your doorstep, including easy access routes down to the stunning Maywick beach. Despite the secluded feel, you’re just a short drive from local gems like Bigton and St Ninian’s Isle. Guests also have access to a handy on-site utility space with laundry facilities, making longer stays even more comfortable and convenient.

Due to our very rural location, having your own transport is strongly recommended. The nearest bus stop is a few miles away, so public transport options are limited. That said, the quiet roads and open surroundings make for a peaceful drive, and you’re still within easy reach of local highlights, beaches, and villages by car. Taxi's are also an option.
